The Archives of the History of American Psychology at the University of Akron welcomed Philip Zimbardo to campus Wednesday to speak on "The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil." On his second lecture of the day, Zimbardo said he rushed to Akron from Columbus driving upwards of 80 mph.

A female student went to her car Saturday parked in the North Campus Parking Deck to retrieve something from it when she discovered she wasn't alone. According to the University of Akron police report, a man grabbed the woman and groped her. A "Special Edition" Zipmail was sent out Tuesday by to inform students of the incident.

Roommates find gun

Students discover roommate keeps weapon on campus

Students living on campus discovered a firearm in their residence Friday night. The gun belonged to a roommate who lived there. The University of Akron police report said the roommates discovered a .44 Magnum revolver and ammunition in another roommate's storage bin.
