Z-TV sends two news reporters to cover the Democratic National Convention

University of Akron students Jamie Reeves, Z-TV News Source producer and Becca Gruccio, Z-TV News Source reporter, returned from Denver, Colorado Friday after reporting on the 2008 Democratic National Convention. "The entire experience was absolutely amazing," Reeves said.

While most UA students spent their summers watching Batman and daydreaming about superheroes, some top-notch ROTC students were sent to locations across the country to bring these dreams to life. These real-life heroes were sent to undergo training in the most intense situations possible.

Director Recognized

If you are a University of Akron student and haven't seen the Archives of the History of American Psychology, you are really missing out. Dr. David Baker, the director of the Archives of the History of American Psychology and professor of psychology, won the American Psychological Association's Presidential Citation for preserving the historical records of American psychology this August.
